Hello 2017!


After a nice break we are back in full swing over here at CFL and with a new year brings a desire to be more healthy, right? (except when that glass of wine is calling your name.. oops)


We love us some smoothies, so we decided to share one of our favorite recipes with you. This is my go-to choice at my favorite smoothie place in Austin, Juiceland (Its called the Wundershowzen), but when you don’t feel like spending a million dollars on a liquid meal, you make your own version at home and feel better about life.


Green Smoothie (with spinach + banana)


2 frozen bananasĀ 
2 cups baby spinach 2
2 Tbs hemp protein powder (optional)
2 Tbs peanut butter OR 2 Tbs almond butter (or 3 Tbs raw almonds)
1 cup almond milkĀ 


If you don’t have frozen bananas, just use a couple of ripe ones and add some ice! Blend it up and enjoy!
