Frozen Strawberry Margarita

Frozen Strawberry Margarita

Cinco de Mayo is tomorrow which is the perfect excuse to through a little party. So grab your neighbors, grab your friends and sip this delicious drink while you eat some yummy chips and queso. I added these fun cupcake toppers to add a festive vibe.
Even if you aren't celebrating Cinco de Mayo, I'm a huge fan of this strawberry margarita while laying by the pool, a fun girl's night, or just because! We made these over the weekend and sipped them while watching the kids play and grilling some yummy salmon. It's summer in a glass and is sure to keep you cool (we even made virgin ones for the boys!).

I'm honestly pretty picky about my margs, so this one comes pretty close to perfect in my opinion. It's sweet but not too sweet and it's also so easy to make. If you make margs on the reg, there is a chance you may even have all the ingredients laying around already.

So go grab some glasses and pour some nice cool margs and have a fun time celebrating tomorrow!

  • 1lb Frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup Tequila
  • 1/2 cup Cointreau (orange liqueur)
  • 1/4 cup agave
  • 2 cups ice
  • lime wheels

  1. In a blender, blend all the ingredients (except for the lime wheels) until smooth.
  2. Pour into glasses and garnish with a lime wheel. I also used these cupcake toppers in the drinks to add a fun festive vibe!
  3. ENJOY!
