What is the difference between the Hand Lettering 101 & 201 books?

Hand Lettering 101 was written someone who has no lettering experience. It includes letter drills for our classic alphabet, and will get you comfortable with the basics of lettering. Hand Lettering 201 is for those who have gotten comfortable with the concepts taught in Hand Lettering 101 and want to continue their lettering practice. It includes a variety of new alphabets (including upper-case letters!), as well as a broad range of color and design techniques.
What are your favorite pens?
We have links to all of our favorite lettering tools HERE. A classic sharpie or a mechanical pencil are also great tools for beginners!
Do I need an iPad Pro to use the Procreate app?
No, you do not need an iPad Pro to use the Procreate App, but please check the app's recommended iOS and make sure it is compatible before purchasing. The Apple Pencil is only compatible with the iPad pro, however, there are many other styluses available that will work with a regular iPad.
How to I get my download onto my iPad?
You will need to download and unzip the file on a computer first, then share your files to your iPad through email, AirDrop, or iCloud drive. You could also use an unzip app on your iPad to unzip the file. For Letter Drills and word bundles, download the JPG's, save them to your iPad, import them to your app as your canvas + start tracing!
Where is my download?
If you purchased a digital product, you should have received an email with a link to your download. Please be sure to check your spam folder just in case. If you still do not see the download email, please email us at email@example.com and we can resend the download. Please be sure to reference your order number
Are your products dishwasher and/or microwave safe?
Most of our ceramic mugs are microwave and top rack dishwasher safe, but the design will hold up best if hand washed. Any mug with gold lettering should not be microwaved. Double-walled tumblers, water bottles or travel mugs are hand wash only.
What is a Surprise Box?
It’s just like it sounds! It is a box is filled with surprises! Usually centered around a theme or season, these boxes are filled with never before seen CFL goodies as well as some cute, curated items and make a great gift for yourself or a friend (or both!) Please note the shipping time on any surprise box orders as they and are typically pre-sold a month and a half before being shipped (except for Birthday and Luxury boxes).
When will I receive my Surprise Box?
Our surprise boxes are typically sold a month and a half before they will actually ship out (except for Birthday and Luxury boxes) Please check the product listing for the specific shipping time frame for the box that your ordered. Once your box ships, you will receive an email with your tracking information. Please note that any additional items ordered with your surprise box will ship out at the same time as your box.
Can I exchange my apparel for a different size?
Unfortunately, since all of our apparel is printed to order we cannot accept returns or exchanges. Please reference the sizing chart before ordering.
When will I receive my order?
You will receive your tracking information in an email 3-5 days after you place your order. You can check on your shipping status from there!
Can you give me an update on my Amazon order?
Unfortunately, we do not control the shipment of items that you ordered through Amazon. We only control the orders placed through our shop. Please reach out to Amazon customer service regarding any questions about your order.
Can I change the address on my order?
We are unable to change your address once the order has been shipped, but please contact customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org to see if your order is eligible for an address change. Please reference your order number and include the new shipping address in your email.
Can you cancel my order?
We are unable to cancel orders once they have been shipped, but you can reach out to our contact customer service by email at email@example.com to see if your order is eligible for cancellation. Please reference your order number.
What do I do if my package says it was delivered, but I haven't received it?
The first step would be to double check the shipping address you provided on the order. If the address is correct we suggest first checking with your neighbors! It may have been delivered to them by accident. There's also a possibility it is still on the truck, so we suggest giving it a few days to see if it arrives. If still no luck, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know that your package has not arrived.
My mug arrived damaged, can I get a replacement?
We would be happy to send a replacement if your item was damaged in transit! A replacement request must occur within 3 days of delivery and must be accompanied with photo evidence of the damaged item (as well as the packaging, if possible). Once this is received, we will send out a replacement as soon as possible (US Only).
For damaged international orders, we are happy to cover the replacement cost of the item that was damaged, but the customer is responsible for the replacement shipping cost.
What is your wholesale policy?

Do you do custom orders?
Yes, but on a limited basis. For custom orders we require a minimum purchase of 72 mugs + a design fee. If you are interested, please email us at email@example.com with more information about your project as well as your desired timeline.
